Gueishan Island, natural landmark of Ilan County, is situated outside the coastline of Toucheng. It has an area of 2.8 square kilometers. It is named as its shape that resembles a turtle. The special geology of Gueishan Island makes it form many spectacular sceneries, such as “Gueishan Island Facing the Sun,” “Smoke of Gueishan Island,” “Rocks & Cliffs of Turtle Mountain,” “Turtle Eggs Wonders,” “Magical Turtle Swaying the Tail,” “Magical Turtle Wearing Hats,” “Glass Holes of Stalactites,” “Spring Rising.” The most charming is that the views of Gueishan Island varies from different locations, weathers and tides.
